How it works

Checked, not guessed.

AI writing tools draft a plan and leave you to check the numbers. Pro’s engine solves for them: 44 nutrient targets, safe upper limits, clinical caps and your client’s foods, all at once. When a target can’t be met from food, it says which one and why.2

  1. 1 · You

Tell it who the client is

Age, sex, weight, activity, conditions, life stage and training days. Targets come from ICMR-NIN 2020 for that group, or from your own prescription.

  2. 2 · Pro

    The engine drafts the week

An optimiser chooses dishes from the cuisine pack and sizes every portion inside its recipe range, for all seven days together. No generative AI picks a food or a gram.

  3. 3 · You

    You check, edit and send

Change a portion, pick from five nutrient-matched swaps or rebalance a day. Every edit is re-checked before it saves. Then send a PDF, a link or a WhatsApp message.

Clinical

The limits you would set, set every time.

Tick a condition, or let the client’s blood work and vitals point to one, and its limits go into the solver as hard rules. More than 20 conditions are covered, from anaemia and fatty liver to recovery after bariatric surgery.

  • Type 2 diabetes

Each meal’s glycaemic index and the day’s glycaemic load are capped, with lower-GI swaps.

  • Kidney disease

Potassium, phosphorus and sodium held under the caps for chronic kidney disease.

  • PCOS

Moderate carbohydrate and lower-glycaemic meals across the day.

  • Thyroid

Separate rules for hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, including selenium for hypothyroid clients.

  • Pregnancy and lactation

ICMR-NIN 2020’s own targets for pregnancy and for breastfeeding, in place of the adult ones.

  • Hypertension

Sodium capped and potassium-rich foods preferred, in a DASH-style pattern.

Ten rules the planner does not bend.

  1. 01

    Allergens

Excluded from every dish, every swap and every edit.

  2. 02

    Energy

Each day lands within ±5% of target, or the day is flagged with the reason.

  3. 03

    Upper limits

No day goes above an ICMR-NIN tolerable upper limit or a maximum you set.

  4. 04

    Salt

Added salt capped at 5 g a day, 3 g for hypertension, kidney disease and heart failure.

  5. 05

    Variety

No dish repeats within seven days. Follow-up plans avoid the client’s recent dishes.

  6. 06

    Portions

Every portion stays inside its recipe’s realistic range. No 3× servings.

  7. 07

    Cooking losses

Nutrients reduced per ingredient and cooking method, using USDA retention factors.

  8. 08

    Diet type

Vegetarian, vegan, eggetarian, Jain and Satvik respected at ingredient level.

  9. 09

    Supplements

Whey and supplements appear only when you prescribe them.

  10. 10

    Honesty

What food cannot meet is named in the gap report. Nothing is rounded up to look complete.

Methods

Every number has a source.

Every value in a plan is computed from a named food and a named target: the IFCT 2017 food, the grams, the cooking losses applied and the ICMR-NIN 2020 target it counts towards.

For your clients

Their own food, in their own language.

  • Dish names they recognise. Telugu and English side by side, or Hindi, with household measures.
  • Swaps they choose themselves, from options inside the rules you set.
  • Meals ticked off and a weekly check-in: weight, waist, hunger and how closely they followed the plan.
  • Your clinic on every page. Your name and colours on the PDF, the print view and the private link, or send it on WhatsApp.

Nobody eats 63.2 g of rice.

Your client reads katoris, rotis and spoons. You still see every gram. Measures follow the household-measure tables in NIN’s Dietary Guidelines for Indians 2024, and where the guidelines have no measure, the plan shows grams only.

Questions dietitians ask.

Does it replace my clinical judgement?
No. Pro does the arithmetic and the food matching. You review, edit and approve every plan before it reaches the client.
Does AI decide what my client eats?
No. Plans are built by an optimiser working over real recipes and a food composition table. No generative model picks foods or sets quantities, so every number in a plan traces back to a food and a rule.
Where do the targets and food data come from?
Targets come from ICMR-NIN 2020: Estimated Average Requirements, Recommended Dietary Allowances and Tolerable Upper Limits for each life stage, including pregnancy, lactation and children. Food values come from IFCT 2017 (National Institute of Nutrition), with USDA values for a few staples, and dishes are built from them with cooking losses applied.
What happens when food alone cannot meet a nutrient?
It is named in the gap report with the reason. Vitamin B₁₂ on a vegetarian week and vitamin D are the usual ones. The planner never hides a shortfall, so you can advise supplements or sunlight.
Which cuisines are covered?
Andhra Pradesh (269 dishes, with Telugu and English names) and Pan-Indian (180 dishes) are live, with a blended mode that mixes them. Tamil Nadu is written and in review; Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala are next.
Does it handle Jain, Satvik, vegan and allergies?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, eggetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain and Satvik are built into the cuisine packs. You can prefer, exclude or limit a food to a number of meals a week, and mark allergies. Gluten-free and lactose-free filters are included.
What counts as an active client?
A client you are currently planning for. Pause or complete a client and they stop counting; nothing is ever deleted.
Is client data private?
Each practitioner’s data is kept apart with row-level security in the database, and payments go through Razorpay, so we never see card details. Read how we protect data.
